$249including GST covers a competent surveyor's visit, one sample and analysis by an IANZ-accredited laboratory. Extra samples taken at the same visit are $85each. You get the laboratory's own report, unedited, plus a plain-English note on what it means.

Why a surveyor takes the sample

Only a laboratory can tell you whether a material contains asbestos. WorkSafe tells homeowners that sampling should only be done by a reputable contractor, and tells PCBUs that it should only be done by a competent person. That is why a surveyor takes our samples and why we do not sell DIY sampling kits.

We are not a licence holder. NZ Asbestos Removal is not a WorkSafe asbestos licence holder. Removal we arrange is carried out by licensed partners named, with their licence class and number, on each quote.
